LESSONS
Alongside my career as a professional concert pianist, I am extremely passionate to share my love for music making with students of different age and abilities who seek a high-quality education.
My lessons are designed for those who wish to improve their technical skills, musical interpretation and also those who prepare for ABRSM exams, Trinity exams,auditions and competitions. I would also be happy to help those who wish to pursue their career as professional musicians, and those who want to become professionals in educational field.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that the most important role for me as a piano teacher is to foster the joy of music making that lasts a lifetime, and help them develop their own, authentic musical language.
I also hope to prompt my students learn to appreciate how consistent and conscious practice nurtures pleasure through constant musical discovery. Practice should be fun and inspirational always.

ONLINE LESSONS
For busy professionals and students, Maiko offers lessons available from anywhere in the world. You can enjoy one to one online piano lesson via various platforms such as Skype, Zoom, Teams and Whereby.
